Harbinger
About
Born in 2023, Harbinger is an instrumental electronic music project at the crossroads of synthwave and space-inspired electronica.
Based in Rennes, Geoffroy, former drummer of Metro Verlaine, develops a solo live-machine performance built around synthesizers and sequencers.
Drawing inspiration on one hand from Jean-Michel Jarre, Kavinsky, and Daft Punk, and on the other from comics and space exploration, Harbinger delivers retro-futuristic electronic music that is both melancholic and danceable.
The first EP, Runner Spheres, was released in 2024, followed by a live session at the Radôme. In 2025, the project signed with Night Night Records for a second EP, "Wavesyzer", scheduled for March 20, 2026.
